The ARC Line Power-2400 & Low Power-2400 Modems will replace the Bell 103, 212A/D, 212ALP, V.22bis modems are ultra-compact and easy to install and are pin power / line powered or DC powered. It's designed to run on extremely low current making them idea for Solar Powered applications. The Line Power modem need no batteries or AC power because it is designed to run on extremely low current from the interface to which it attaches or 6 to 12 Volts DC power.

After 5 seconds of inactivity, the modem automatically goes into power down mode.

The Modem 2400 NPR is ultra-compact and easy to install. It needs no batteries or AC power because it's designed to run on extremely low current from the interface to which it attaches.

The Modern operates at speeds up to 2400 bps and the fax operates at 9.6 Kbps. If you are connected to a slower speed modern at the other end of the line, the Modem 2400 NPR automatically "falls back" to match the speed of the slower modern so your data transmission is not interrupted.

The Modern is compatible with all communications software and complies fully with the Hayes' Standard AT Command Set and the ITU V22 bis and V.22 standards, as well as Bell 103 and Bell 212A protocols.

The Modern also features automatic answer, so it can operate unattended.

It will operate over rotary or pushbutton lines since it works in tone or pulse dialing modes.

The Modern is very small and simple to install: You don't need a modem-to-DTE cable since it plugs right in to the RS-232 port on your data terminal. The other end of the modem connects directly to your RJ-11 telephone cabling.


 

The Modem 2400 NPR connects directly to your DTE comm. port and operates on all telephone Lines.

ARC Modem
LOW-PWR 2.4

 

This unit is designed for applications where power can be provided at pin 20 ( DTR ) of the DB 25 connector. Current consumption in active state is less than 75 ma and in power down mode, less than 20 ma. The low power 2.4 has the same specifications as the LinePower  2400 except for the power input. This modem can be used in applications where the communication port only uses pin 2 and 3.

The Modem is ultra-compact and easy to install. The LP2.4 designed to run on extremely low current from the DB25 interface pin 20 or optional power cable.

Current consumption in active state is less than 70 ma and in power down mode, less than 20 ma making it ideal for these solar powered applications.
