Introduction
 
AEDS-205 EtherDevice™ Switch is an entry-level industrial 5-port Ethernet switch that supports IEEE 802.3/802.3u/802.3x with 10/100M, full/half-duplex, MDI/MDIX auto-sensing RJ45 ports.

With AEDS-205 EtherDevice™ Switch, you can choose either a 12V to 48V DC power input, or 18V to 30V AC power input. The AC-24V power input is designed especially for applications in the building automation field where the source of power input is often restricted. AEDS-205 EtherDevice™ Switch is a low-cost, versatile solution that can be used for any industrial application.

AEDS-205 EtherDevice™ Switch can operate in temperatures of -10 to 60°C, making it rugged enough for any harsh, industrial environment. EDS-205 can be easily installed with both DIN-Rail mounting and distribution boxes. The high-intensity hardware design with IP30 protection and LED indicators make AEDS-205 EtherDevice™ Switch an easy yet reliable Ethernet switch.
