Canoga Perkins  9119 Fast Ethernet Media Converters provide network designers with a new set of LAN Extension tools that allow design flexibility regardless of interface media.  The Canoga Perkins 9119is a cost-effective, compact, rack-mountable solution that transforms signals from 100BASE-TX to 100BASE-FX and is transparent to half and full-duplex operation.  The Canoga Perkins 9119 Media Converter also supports connectivity of up to 3km over multimode fiber in half-duplex mode, and up to 120km over single mode fiber optic cable in full-duplex mode. Canoga Perkins Fast Ethernet products comply with the latest industry standards ensuring connectivity to other compliant data transmission devices.

EdgeAccess® 9000 Family - The optional 9101 LAN Chassis, 8829 10Mbps, Canoga Perkins 9119 100Mbps, and  Canoga Perkins 9120 1000Mbps media converters, along with the 9135, 9135G, and 9140 Switches form a complete set of 10/100/1000Mbps Copper or Fiber LAN Extension building blocks for simple, cost-effective, and manageable solutions.  The 9101 Chassis is available with 120/240VAC or -48VDC power supplies for use with powered media converters. It is designed to accommodate a mix of up to twelve rack-mounted modules.
