"B" Family Highlights

Modem Control.   The 56K MultiModemII models have an LCD panel for greater user control. It puts status, configuration, and diagnostics at the user’s fingertips, where most modems require configuration and diagnostics to be run from the PC modem software.

High-Speed Communications.   Provide corporate users with 56K downloading speeds for more efficient transfer of information from the Internet, branch offices, and partner offices. Plus 56K models support Class 1 and Class 2 fax commands.

Backup Service.   When used for mission critical data and fax communications, the MT5600BL and MT2834BLs include a dial-up backup connection.

Broad Compatibility.   The MultiModemII, with years of proven field experience, has the best interoperability with any modem on the market, saving administrators valuable time they might otherwise spend troubleshooting incompatibility problems.

Integrated Data Communications and Fax Software.   The free bundled software has an easy-to-use graphical interface for Windows 95, Windows 98, and Windows NT.
